About Me:
Daniel the OT
OT’s ask a lot about you,
it’s only fair you know a bit about me!
I grew up on the Central Coast and graduated as an OT from University of Newcastle in 2012. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people to live well despite the health barriers they may face.
I am proficient in assistive technology and home modification assessment and prescription, and have had significant experience with aged care and dementia.
After more than 10 years, I still love OT! The act of bringing together research evidence and the needs and goals of individuals is intensely rewarding. It is the absolute core of high-quality health services, and I am always looking at new ways to grow and share.
More personally, I am a long-time runner, a workshop tinkerer, and a somewhat competent guitar player. I am an avid reader and enjoy learning; I have qualifications in personal training, education, and a mish-mash of short courses and software.
